Hero, Pedigree Dog of the Year! His work as a Delta Society Pet Partner® with Paws Patrol for the last 12 years made him worthy of this prestigious award.

In 2004, Hero was the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association Dog of the Year, in 2005 Hero and Marty were named Delta Society Beyond Limits Award Winners as Pet Partners of the Year. In 2006 Paws Patrol won the United Way Volunteer Group of the Year award for Albany.

Hero was adopted from the Albany Humane Society in 1996 and promotes adoption of shelter dogs. Hero has a great heart that he shares with everyone he meets. He and the Paws Patrol teams are devoted to people and animals. It is our goal to make life better for both in our community.
